A Special Thanks to:
Granny's Finest
Ginny & Jack Hanson have lived on Vashon since 1962 when their second daughter was born. Both daughters, Madeline & Jessica, attended school on the Island as well. They have 4 grandchildren who have visited Granny's Attic many times over the years for clothing, toys, and now designer clothes. Jack worked at K2 & retired from Boeing while Ginny retired from the Postal Service in 1991. They have volunteered at Granny's for about 2 years and have made great contributions, both individually, and as a team. Ginny is a Shift Head, as well as Department Head in Pictures. Jack works in Hardware but frames & repairs many of the pictures we have sold. Ginny says they have enjoyed every Granny & Grandpa volunteer they work with & welcomes anyone in the community to come and volunteer with them.
Grannys
Attic is a membership organization that fosters friendships, recycling
and community spirit. Members are invited to participate in a monthly
meeting led by officers and committe members, who put ideas & procedures
into action.
If you would like to be a Volunteer, please print out
the Volunteer Application (You can click here and below), fill it out and bring it in Monday-Friday,
10-4pm and talk with the Business Manager. She'll find the best job
and timing for you!
